Eat Well - Without the Work

Between work, family, and daily responsibilities, preparing nutritious meals every night can easily become another chore.

Planning menus … Grocery shopping … Cooking and cleaning …

Even families who care deeply about their health often find themselves making unhealthy trade-offs.

That’s where a Personal Chef comes in. Designed for busy households who want nutritious, chef-quality food without the time commitment.

Each week you will receive a personalized menu based on your preferences and dietary needs.

Once approved, your custom menu will be prepared in your home from the freshest ingredients purchased the morning of your cook day. You will come home to a spotless kitchen, and a fridge full of your weekly meals, all packaged and labeled with reheating instructions.

Nutrition-Focused, Flavour-Forward

My approach is based on the best nutrition science we have today, without the noise of diet tribes or fads.  Approaches like the Mediterranean diet, the Blue Zones, the Dash diet, or the Mind diet describe a dietary framework that can be applied to many different food preferences and tastes.

Menus are plant-predominant and nutritionally balanced, while remaining deeply flavourful and satisfying.

Depending on your preferences, meals may include:

• Plant-based
• Vegetarian
• Pescatarian
• Flexitarian (including fish & poultry)

Every menu is customized to your unique tastes and health objectives.

  • Kevin Bertram - Professional Chef & Licensed Holistic Nutrition Practitioner

With over 28 years of culinary experience, including the last 8 years cooking in the private homes of an UHNW family, I bring refined cooking and nutritional expertise directly into your home.

My career has taken me through:

    • High-end restaurants (including a Michelin recognized vegetarian restaurant)

    • International kitchens

    • Movie and television sets

    • Private estates and luxury residences

These experiences have taught me how to adapt to any kitchen, cook with exceptional ingredients, and deliver a calm, professional service in someone’s home.

Today, I combine that culinary experience with my training as a Licensed Holistic Nutrition Practitioner, creating meals that are both delicious and aligned with evidence-based nutrition science.

How it Works

1. Consultation

We begin with a conversation about your household, food preferences, dietary needs, and health goals.  We choose a weekly schedule and coordinate any logistics.

2. Menu Planning

Each week, I create a personalized menu for your approval, tailored to your tastes and nutritional priorities.  You will receive this 3-5 days before the cook day.

3. Cook Day

I source fresh ingredients, cook in your kitchen, package and label the meals, stock your pantry as needed, and leave your kitchen spotless.

When you return home, your fridge is stocked with healthy meals ready for the week.
